As part of a larger home renovation, we recently took on the challenge of transforming a small downstairs bathroom in Sorrento. The original space featured ageing tiles and old, difficult-to-use taps. Our mission was to revitalise the area, creating a modern and functional environment.
Our renovation included an open shower concept that updated the bathroom, making it feel more spacious and accessible. To add a touch of sophistication and contrast, we selected sleek black bathroom fixtures. We also installed wall hooks, providing a convenient place to hang items such as clothing and towels.
We replaced the old, shiny tiles with smooth slate tiles, giving the bathroom a contemporary and textured appearance, departing from the previous almost hospital-like feel. To optimise the available space and add an elegant touch, we included a curved mirror with ample length, which served both a functional and aesthetic purpose.
