We recently had the pleasure of completing a kitchen and bathroom renovation project in Kinross. This project was particularly rewarding, as we transformed a number of rooms. The result was a seamless transformation of multiple spaces in their home, making it both functional and modern.
The client initially approached us to renovate her kitchen. After seeing the finished result and being extremely happy with the outcome, she decided to trust us with further renovations, including her bathroom, powder room, and laundry. Her main goal was to modernise these spaces, improving both their functionality and aesthetic appeal.
One of the primary challenges we faced was that the client was living in the home throughout the renovation process. This required us to be especially mindful of the work environment, ensuring we always had floor protection in place to keep the house clean and tidy. We made it a priority to minimise disruptions to the client’s daily life, maintaining a clean worksite and working efficiently to meet the renovation timeline.
We started with the kitchen renovation, which took a total of four weeks to complete. The client wanted a modern colour scheme, and we delivered a sleek combination of white and black tones for the cabinetry and benchtops. This bold contrast created a stylish and contemporary atmosphere in the kitchen. New appliances, ample storage, and a spacious layout brought the kitchen up to date, while ensuring it was a functional space for everyday living.
Once the kitchen was finished and the client was thrilled with the results, we moved on to the bathroom, powder room, and laundry renovation. The other spaces took a total of five weeks to complete, during which we made significant improvements. We replaced the old bathtub with a modern, freestanding tub, creating a spa-like feel. The neutral colour scheme, featuring black and whites, brought a clean and calming atmosphere to the space. Sleek tiles, new fixtures, and an updated vanity elevated the room’s design and functionality.
In the laundry, we focused on modernising the space while maintaining a functional layout. We installed a white benchtop paired with a wood grain linen cabinet, bringing warmth and character to the room. This design choice gave the laundry a stylish, contemporary feel while ensuring plenty of storage for the client’s needs.
The client was absolutely thrilled with the entire renovation process and the final results. The kitchen, bathroom, powder room, and laundry all came together beautifully, creating a cohesive and modern aesthetic throughout the home. The bold white and black colour scheme in the kitchen, mirrored in the bathroom, and the modern touches in the laundry all contributed to the overall success of the renovation.
